Photographic slides, negatives and prints may be several decades old and may have suffered all sorts of damage whilst being stored in less than ideal locations. I can repair these old photos bringing them close or better than the original.

The scanning and restoration process
You can pop up to deliver your photos and have a chat about what you would like done or send me scans, though my professional quality scanner will likely make a higher quality scan to work with, or post your images to me.
I'll scan all the media you give me and save to a folder which on collection of your originals can be copied across to your storage device (perhaps a USB stick) or give you access to the scanned images via my Dropbox online storage area. You will be able to just keep the basic scans and pay me or choose your favourites or special images for restoration. When I've finished the work I will issue an invoice and invite you to pick up your original media or post back to you. You can bring along a USB storage device for me to copy all finished images or I will make them available for you to download directly to your computer.
I do not print photographs, however your digitised photos can be taken or sent to any online or high street print specialist.
These are your scanning options
Standard Size 35mm slides, negative strips or loose prints 50p each image
Original photos are scanned using a profession standard Epson scanner sizes up to A4 prints and most standard size negatives or positives (slides) catered for. Minimum number 20 eg £10 + 50p per additional print
Standard Sized album mounted prints 85p each image
Original prints are scanned using a profession standard Epson scanner sizes up to A4. Album mounted prints are less accessible and therefore more time consuming to scan. Minimum number 20 eg £10 + 85p per additional print
Medium format negatives or slides £1.00 each image
Medium format slides and negatives are generally about two inches square. Because of their larger size and fitting on the scanner bed it takes far longer and the price takes that into account. Both negatives and slides are catered for.

Non-standard media per image £1.20 each
Non-standard sized media, slides or negatives may need a temporary mount to fit a scanner and are by nature difficult to scan. The process takes far longer than standard sizes. Minimum number 20 + £1.20 per additional print

Grade Three repair £25 each
To restore colour, contrast and sharpness to faded image PLUS repair minor tears, remove noise, spots or lines PLUS object removal, replace missing areas, facial repair and resize.
